ebuting in Padua is Photo Open Up, the new<br />
International Photography Festival set to<br />
occupy the most prestigious exhibition spaces<br />
throughout the city from 21 September to 27 October. Over<br />
five weeks, there shall be authors such the likes of Mario<br />
Giacomelli, Nan Goldin, Helmut Newton, Man Ray, Sebastião<br />
Salgado and Edward Weston, on display in the exhibition Io,<br />
l’altro (e l’altrove).<br />
There will also be the works of Gabriele Basilico, collected in<br />
the series Milan – Factory Portraits, which dialogue with the<br />
exceptional corpus of unpublished images from 1975 taken<br />
by Paolo Mussat Sartor titled Industrial Sanctuaries.<br />
What’s more, there shall be a broad selection of the<br />
extraordinary photographic patrimony collected by the<br />
Agenzia Grazia Neri, exhibited to the public for the first time<br />
under the title Un paese di dialoghi e conflitti. The young<br />
Italian artists who have abandoned traditional genres are<br />
protagonists of the project Argo. But of course, the Festival<br />
does not end there. Meetings, workshops, events… the entire<br />
