La Banca centrale europea ha<br />
deciso: non è terminata la stagione<br />
dell’austerità, i tassi s’hanno da<br />
rialzare. Ancora una volta. Siamo<br />
arrivati al 4,5% sui rifinanziamenti<br />
principali, al 4% sui depositi, al 4,75%<br />
sui prestiti marginali, con effetto dal<br />
20 settembre <strong>2023</strong>. Del resto, Christine<br />
Lagarde, nostra signora dei tassi,<br />
mercoledì 28 giugno al Forum delle<br />
banche centrali organizzato a Sintra, in<br />
Portogallo, era stata più che esplicita:<br />
«Non stiamo considerando una pausa».<br />
Anche la Federal Reserve, dal canto<br />
suo, non prende l’inflazione sottogamba.<br />
«Dobbiamo mantenere i tassi alti per<br />
diverso tempo»: parole del presidente<br />
della Fed, Jerome Powell. Il costo del<br />
denaro negli States si attesta fra il 5,25%<br />
e il 5,50%, mai così altro nel terzo<br />
millennio (ad essere pignoli, dal gennaio<br />
2001). Le premesse sono queste, sempre<br />
per bocca del governatore, al simposio di<br />
Jackson Hole, che si è tenuto dal 24 al 27<br />
agosto a Kansas City. «La Fed manterrà<br />
una politica monetaria restrittiva» fino a<br />
quando l’inflazione non avrà traguardato<br />
la fatidica soglia del 2%. E la Cina che<br />
fa? A giugno, la Banca popolare cinese<br />
ha ridotto il Loan prime rate a un anno,<br />
punto di riferimento per i prestiti alle<br />
imprese, dal 3,65% al 3,55%, mentre<br />
l’Lpr quinquennale, utilizzato per i prezzi<br />
dei mutui, è stato ridotto dal 4,3% al<br />
4,2%. E il successivo 15 agosto, sorpresa!<br />
Il gavettone ferragostano, la Banca<br />
popolare cinese l’ha tirato alla curva<br />
calante dello scenario economico interno.<br />
Un ulteriore taglio del tasso di interesse<br />
praticato sui finanziamenti a un anno di<br />
15 punti base, ora al 2,5%.<br />
L’inasprimento delle condizioni di<br />
finanziamento sulle due sponde<br />
dell’Atlantico lascia spiragli aperti ai<br />
refoli di recessione per gli Oem. Dopo<br />
l’abbuffata di macchine dovuta agli incentivi<br />
4.0, ai vari ecobonus, al pre-buy,<br />
considerando l’inflazione, lo sclerotizzarsi<br />
del caro gasolio e i venti di guerra, le<br />
difficoltà di accesso al credito potranno<br />
ulteriormente drenare i flussi di cassa<br />
degli utilizzatori finali?<br />
