Children must be ready in the morning at the time agreed upon. When the child is not there, the bus will wait for
2 min. After this waiting time the bus will drive on.
When a child is ill, on holiday, or when you bring it to school yourself, please inform the bus driver in advance.
In this way we can avoid buses waiting unnecessarily.
The teachers feel very responsible for a safe handling of the departing buses. They will always assist the
attendant to place the younger children in the right buses. Formally they are not responsible however, Comfort
is.
Regular
Jip & Janneke: buses leave between 11.55 and 12.00
Group 1 and 2: buses leave between 13.30 and 13.40
Group 3
Group 4 - 8:
buses leave between 13.30 and 13.40 (until Dec ’06. Mon-Fri)
buses leave between 13.30.and 13.40 (from Jan ‘07, Mon, Wed and Fri)
buses leave between 15.00 en 15.10 (from Jan ‘07, Tue and Thu)
buses leave between 15.00 and 15.10 (Mon-Thu)
buses leave between 13.30 and 13.40 (Fri)
After school activities
Group 1 and 2 buses leave between 15.00 and 15.10
Group 3 buses leave between 15.00 and 15.10 (until December 2006)
Parents must pick up their children themselves at 16.30 from school or at the Hollandse Club,
when the children take the Club bus (from January 2007)
Group 4 - 8

Special circumstances
• Going home with a friend
This is possible from Monday until Thursday and is only valid for the children whose parents have a
transport contract with Comfort. On Fridays all the children of the primary school leave at 13.30 and the
buses are all full, so it is not possible to transport extra children. Children can only go with another bus
other than their own if arranged with the teacher beforehand.
Jip and Janneke children cannot drive home with friends in the school bus.
Children from group 1, 2 and 3 must put a white card in the bus card with on it: own name, date, name of
friend and the temporary bus number. Everything you write on the card must be in English. Also the
children from group 4 must bring an English note when they leave school with a friend.
An exception on this is birthday parties. It is impossible to have all the invited children travelling on the
same bus as the birthday child; we request you to arrange your own transportation.
