As an extra service, Comfort offers bus transport to the Hollandse Club at specific times. This is of course
only valid for the children whose parents have a transport contract with Comfort. The children from
group 1- 3 must have a white card in the bus card with “Club bus”, name and date written on it. The
children from group 4 do not have a bus card, but must deliver a white card with “Club bus”, name and date
on it.
The club bus has the following schedule:
Monday to Friday at 13.30
Monday to Thursday at 15.00
Monday to Thursday at 16.30
• Without contract no bus!
Children of parents who don’t have a contract with Comfort, will not be allowed to take the bus at any time.
This also applies to the Clubbus on Friday after school and after NSA (After School Activities).
• No parents on the bus!
Parents are not allowed to take the School bus at any time. For insurance reasons no exception can be
made.
• Change of pick up or deliver address
It is not possible to change the regular pick up or deliver address on certain days (with the exception of
going home with a friend and the club bus). This was decided for safety reasons.
• Rain
In case of rain, it can happen that the bus arrives later than usual. Rain causes traffic jams, so allow your
bus driver some more time in that case.
Safety
At school
Every morning a HSL-staff member is awaiting the bus children in order to make sure that all the children get to
their class rooms in a safe way. The children leave the bus in 3 groups:
a. First the children of grades 3 to 8 proceed to their classrooms on their own, without assistance.
b. After that the children of grade 1 and 2 will be guided to the “Mr. Dola Plein” by the bus attendants
from where they proceed to their classrooms themselves. A HSL-staff member will keep an eye on
them and the teachers will await the children in their classrooms.
c. The children of J&J will be guided to their classes by the bus attendants.
When the buses leave at the end of the day the Jip & Janneke children are taken to the buses by the teachers.
They handover the children to the bus aunties. The children from groups 1 and 2 are also guided to the bus.
Firstly they assemble in groups corresponding to their bus and then taken to the bus by the teacher where they
are met by the bus aunties.
When all the children are seated in the buses, the supervisor (Comfort) and somebody from the HSL give the
sign for departure.
In the bus
Comfort has appointed a supervisor who daily checks all the buses before leaving, especially whether the
children are wearing their seat belts.
Every bus has a list with names of the children which is checked every day. Friends that drive along are added
to this list with name and regular bus number.
Only children from group 6, 7 and 8 are allowed to sit in front next to the driver.
