Abstract
In 2009 was launched three-year European project sustainable aggregate –
SARMa (Sustainable Aggregates Resource Management) in Southeast Europe, in which
the Mining and Geology participate together with 13 partners from 10 countries. The
project is funded by ERDF funds (European Regional Development Fund) and the IPA
(Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance) funds. Coordinator of the IPA in Serbia, the
Ministry of Finance.
Leading partner in the project is Geological Survey of Slovenia, a contact person
Slavko Solar., Contact person with the Mining and Geology Faculty, dr Vladimir Simic,
and other participants Cedomir Beljic, dr Dragana Zivotic and Jelena Zivanovic, B. Sc.
Eng. Geology. As a volunteer on the project involved Masa Radivojevic, a student of the
Faculty of Mining and Geology. The project aims at harmonization of approaches to
sustainable management of stone aggregates, involving all stakeholders in the
management of mineral resources (public administration, researchers, manufacturers
and spatial planners), exchange experience and establish a regional center for
sustainable management of stone aggregates in Southeast Europe.

1. CILJEVI PROJEKTA
Projekat ima dva osnovna cilja:
1. Razvijanje zajedničkog-usklađenog pristupa održivom upravljanju kamenim
agregatima (tehničko-građevinski kamen, građevinski šljunak i pesak) na
prostoru jugoistočne Evrope (Southeastern Europe-SEE),
2. Ostvarivanje održivog snabdevanja kamenim agregatima na prostoru SEE, na
temelju pravedne distribucije troškova i dobitaka pri proizvodnji kamenih
agregata, upotrebe, odlaganja jalovine i recikliranja, potrošnje sirovina i
energije, te poboljšanje kvaliteta življenja.
Ovi ciljevi ostvariće se putem koordinacije održivim upravljanjem agregatima kao
mineralnim sirovinama, povećanja razmene iskustva (know-how), podsticanjem
izgradnje kapaciteta (znanja) u preduzećima, državnim i lokalnim institucijama,
razvijanjem informacione infrastrukture, usklađivanjem sa strategijom EU o održivom
upravljanju prirodnim resursima (Thematic Strategy on the Sustainable use of Natural
