Getting there<br />
ñ There are several airlines providing flights to<br />
Ethiopia. Turkish airlines, Ethiopian airlines are<br />
some of the best options to fly to the capital<br />
Addis Ababa, from almost all parts of the world.<br />
You will probably need to transit in Istanbul<br />
(Turkey) or Cairo (Egypt).<br />
Moving around in the country<br />
ñ Book a tour by jeep with driver, with a local<br />
agency based in Addis Ababa, to explore the<br />
South of the country. The South of Ethiopia is the<br />
real adventure, so you can't do it on your own as<br />
the public transport are rare and limited.<br />
ñ Organize your trip in the South of the country<br />

villages if Dimeka, Key Afar, Jinka and Turmi. It is<br />
a perfect way to meet the tribes in their daily life.<br />

ñ Don't forget to try the "injera", is a sourdoughrisen<br />
flatbread with a unique, slightly spongy<br />
texture. It is the national dish in Ethiopia.<br />
ñ Ethiopia is also very famous for its delicious<br />
coffee and beers. Coffee production in Ethiopia<br />
is a longstanding tradition which dates back to<br />
dozens of centuries.<br />
In the Capital Addis Ababa<br />
ñ Attend a jazz concert in one of the numerous<br />
jazz cafäs to find in the capital Addis Ababa<br />
ñ Chill out and go for shopping in the Mercato, a<br />
sprawling market in Addis Ababa. It is considered<br />
to be Africa's largest market. A visit to the market<br />
is a fascinating experience.
