Barbara Putzi-Schmid leitet seit 2008 die Abteilung Nachhaltige
Wirtschaftsentwicklung im Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft,
Familie und Jugend. Im Mittelpunkt ihrer Aufgaben stehen Fragen
und Aspekte zur Gestaltung eines zukunftsfähigen Wirtschaftssystems,
sowie die Forcierung von Öko-Innovationen
und Umwelt- und Energietechnologien. Seit 2010 koordiniert
sie die Aktivitäten des Ministeriums im Bereich nachhaltiger
Mobilität und Elektromobilität.
Die Fahrzeuge werden immer effizienter. Dabei spielt die zunehmende
Elektrifizierung des Antriebsstrangs eine zentrale
Rolle. Die aktive Teilnahme an dieser Technologieentwicklung
ist daher für ein Zulieferland wie Österreich von großer Bedeutung.
Elektromobilität aus Österreich bietet für den Wirtschaftsstandort
eine große Chance, um sich weiterhin mit
innovativer Spitzentechnologie erfolgreich im internationalen
Markt zu positionieren.
Barbara Putzi-Schmid has been in charge of the Department
of Sustainable Economical Development in the Federal Ministry
for of the Economy, Family and Youth since 2008. At the
heart of her responsibilities lie the issues and aspects related to
economic systems for the future as well as support for eco-innovations,
the environment and energy technologies. She has
coordinated the ministry’s activities in the field of sustainable
mobility and electromobility since 2010.
Vehicles are becoming more and more efficient. The increasing
electrification of powertrains plays a central role in
this development. The active participation in this technology
development is of great importance for an industry-supplying
country such as Austria. Electromobility from Austria is a
great opportunity for the country to continue to position
itself in the international market with trailblazing innovative
technology.

Elektromobilität der Bundesregierung
Deutschland – GGEMO
Peter Sallandt ist Leiter der Gemeinsamen Geschäftsstelle Elektromobilität
der Bundesregierung (GGEMO). Er studierte bis
1982 VWL an der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster
und der Universität Paris IX Dauphine. Danach war er als
wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Siedlungs- und
Wohnungswesen der WWU Münster tätig. Von 1987 bis 2011
nahm er verschiedene Aufgaben als Referent bzw. Referatsleiter
im Bundesbau- bzw. Verkehrsministerium und im Bundeskanzleramt
wahr.
Das Regierungsprogramm Elektromobilität in Deutschland
vom Mai 2011 wird Schritt für Schritt erfolgreich umgesetzt.
Neben einer intensiven finanziellen Förderung von Forschung
und Entwicklung wurden zum Beispiel mit den Schaufenstern
Elektromobilität und den Leuchtturmprojekten zwei zusätzliche
innovative FuE-Instrumente eingeführt.
Weitere Kernelemente des Regierungsprogramms sind steuerliche
Anreizmechanismen, nichtmonetäre Anreize und öffentliche
Beschaffungsprogramme. Auch hier wurden wichtige
Fortschritte erzielt.
Peter Sallandt is the head of the German Federal Government
Joint Unit for Electric Mobility (GGEMO). He studied economics
at Wilhems University in Münster, Westphalia, Germany until
1982 and at IX Dauphine University in Paris. Afterwards, he
worked as scientific staff member at the Institute of Spatial and
Housing Economics at WWU Münster. He was responsible for
various different tasks as both a consultant and department
head at the Federal Construction Division, The Ministry of
Transport and the Federal Chancellery from 1987 to 2011.
The German government electromobility program passed in
May 2011 is being implemented successfully, step by step.
After the extensive financial subsidization of research and
development, two additional innovative R&D instruments
were introduced after the electromobility showcase and two
flagship projects.
Other core elements of the government program include tax
incentives, non-monetary incentives and public procurement
programs, which have also led to important progress.

Lebensministerium
Robert Thaler ist zuständig für die Konzeption und Koordination
von Modellprojekten, Plänen und Programmen wie den
klima:aktiv mobil Programmen für Mobilitätsmanagement, das
Förderprogramm für alternative Antriebe und Elektromobilität
und weitere. Er studierte Bauingeneurswesen/Verkehrswesen
und Verkehrswirtschaft an der TU Wien und ist seit 1994 Leiter
der Abteilung Verkehr, Mobilität, Siedlungswesen und Lärm im
Lebensministerium.
Das Lebensministerium setzt aktive Impulse zur Förderung
von Elektromobilität mit erneuerbaren Energien als Beitrag zu
Klimaschutz, umweltfreundlicher Mobilität und als Chance für
den Umwelt- und Wirtschaftsstandort Österreich.
Robert Thaler is responsible for the conception and coordination
of model projects, plans and programs such as the klima:aktiv
mobil program for mobility management, the subsidy program
for alternative fuel and electrical mobility and others. He studied
civil engineering/transportation studies and transport economics
at the TU Vienna and has been the head of the Department of
Transport, Mobility, Settlements and Noise at the Ministry of Life
since 1994.
The Ministry of Life actively provides impulses for the subsidization
of electromobility with renewable energy as a contribution
to climate protection, eco-friendly mobility and as
a change for Austria as an environmental location and business
site.
