Im November 2010 fand zum 26. Mal eine große
Gala GRAND PRIX CIFFT statt. Wie auch jedes
Jahr trafen sich in Wien Leiter aller Festivals, die
Mitglieder von Comité International des Festivals
du Film Touristique sind, sowie die Hersteller der
besten touristischen Filme.
Gemäß der Tradition wurden die Feierlichkeiten
mit einem eleganten Empfang in der Residenz
der Familie Kammel geöffnet. Der Feierlichkeit

PRIX gala was held. As it is the case every year,
the best tourfilm producers as well as festival directors
associated by the Comité International
des Festivals du Film Touristique were invited to
Vienna.
The ceremony was traditionally opened with
an exquisite dinner party at the Kammel family’s
residence, who treated the guests with a delicious
meringue cake prepared on the occasion of the
200th anniversary of Frederick Chopin’s birthday.

Der Gewinner von Grand Prix CIFFT 2010 war
ein österreichischer Film „Styria – The Green Heart
of Austria”. Die vergangene Saison kann aber
auch Polen als gelungen bezeichnen. Zum ersten
Mal seit über 20 Jahren des Bestehens von CIFFT
wurden gleich zwei polnische Produktionen preisgekrönt.
Außerdem triumphierten Filme aus Österreich,
Dänemark, Lettland und Mosambik.
Although the 2010 CIFFT Grand Prix went
to the Austrian film Styria – The Green Heart of
Austria, but Poland had also a very successful
season. For the first time in the CIFFT 20-year
history two Polish productions were awarded
next to the winners from Austria, Denmark, Latvia
and Mozambique.
We were mostly pleased with the awards
for Agniszka Holland’s Warsaw ECC and Jerzy
Szkamruk’s Frederyk 2010. On behalf of the
