TOURFILM ist das älteste Internationale Festival<br />
für Touristische <strong>Film</strong>e weltweit.<br />
Seit jeher fi ndet es in Karlove Vary statt.<br />
Jedes Jahr nehmen über 135 Länder aus<br />
der ganzen Welt am Festival teil, die über 600<br />
<strong>Film</strong>e und über 300 multimediale Produktionen<br />
einreichen. Die <strong>Film</strong>e werden in vier Kategorien<br />
bewertet:<br />
Kategorie – <strong>Tourism</strong>usorganisationen der<br />
Länder, Regionen, Städte (<strong>Film</strong>dauer bis 30<br />
min.)<br />
Kategorie – Commercial <strong>Tourism</strong> (<strong>Film</strong>dauer<br />
bis 30 min.)<br />
Kategorie – Fernsehdokumentarfi lme, Werbefi<br />
lme (<strong>Film</strong>dauer bis 60 min.)<br />
Kategorie – Multimedien (CD-ROM, Internetseiten<br />
zum Thema Reisen und <strong>Tourism</strong>us)<br />
Das Festival TOURFILM besteht nicht nur<br />
aus <strong>Film</strong>vorführungen. Zum Begleitprogramm<br />
gehört eine zum Festival parallel stattfi ndende<br />
Kartografi sche Ausstellung. Zudem Workshops<br />
mit berühmten tschechischen Reisenden, ein<br />
„Adrenalintag“ und viele andere Veranstaltun-<br />

gen. Das ganze Programm fi ndet im „Spa Hotel<br />
Thermal“ statt, das direkt an der Esplanade liegt<br />
und somit ganz bequem sowohl für Stadteinwohner<br />
als auch für Touristen zu erreichen ist.<br />
Die Preisverleihung fi ndet im berühmten „Grand<br />
Hotel PUPP“ statt.<br />

TOURFILM is the world’s oldest international<br />
festival of tourism-related fi lms. It is traditionally<br />
held in Karlovy Vary. The entries include over<br />
600 fi lms and 300 productions in the Multimedia<br />
Category from over 135 countries.<br />
The fi lms are judged in four categories:<br />
I – National Tourist Organizations, Regions,<br />
Cities (up to 30 minutes)<br />
II – Commercial <strong>Tourism</strong> (up to 30 minutes)<br />
III – TV documentaries, PR fi lms (up to 60<br />
minutes)<br />
IV – Multimedia (CD-ROM, travel-related<br />
websites).<br />
TOURFILM offers a number of accompanying<br />
events: photo exhibition, TOURMAP - cartographic<br />
exhibition, workshops with the top<br />
Czech explorers, the day of adrenaline, and<br />
many more…The entire program takes place in<br />
Spa Hotel Thermal, conveniently situated both for<br />
tourists and local inhabitants. The gala ceremony<br />
is held at the famous PUPP Grand Hotel.<br />
