Zahlreiche Modehäuser bemühen sich eifrig darum,
die Stars und Sternchen für sich zu gewinnen,
um ihren Kreationen einen glamourösen
Auftritt auf dem roten Teppich zu verschaffen.
Dies gilt natürlich auch für Juwelierunternehmen
und sonstige Ausstatter. Cannes führt es vor,
der Rest der Welt trägt es. Da stellt man sich
schon mal die Frage, ob die Sicherheitskräfte,
die natürlich omnipräsent sind, ein Auge auf die
Träger oder auf Getragenes werfen sollen. Beides,
nehme ich an.

Delon ein. Einer der größten Stars des europäischen
Films der siebziger Jahre. Cannes hatte
ihm zu Weltruhm verholfen, als er einst hierher
kam um die Filmwelt hautnah zu erleben und
diese Welt ihm kurz darauf zu Füßen lag.
Das Blitzlichtgewitter hüllte ihn in ein gleißendes
Licht, Chöre von Fans und Schaulustigen riefen
