schon mehrere Jahrzehnte alt. Das heißt, dass
ihre Konstruktionslösungen schlechter sind als
die unseren. Eine ähnliche Situation erleben auch
die Kaufzentren – die polnischen gehören zu den
modernsten in ganz Europa. Nicht ohne Grund
begleiteten viele Fernsehsender aus der ganzen
Welt den Bau der Einkaufsgalerie Złote Tarasy in
Warschau. Paradoxal trug unsere „Verspätung“
dozens of years old, therefore, they represent a
much older technology. A similar situation can be
observed in shopping centers, which are one of
Europe’s most modern complexes of this type.

Paradoxically, the legacy of the poor economy of
the communist era pushed us ahead of the most
developed countries in some respects. In terms
of the number of hotel rooms per capita, we rank
in the middle bracket, but the quality to price ra-

dazu bei, dass wir jetzt in vielen Bereichen einen
Schritt voraus sind. Wenn wir das Verhältnis zwischen
den Übernachtungsplätzen pro Einwohner
überprüfen, erreichen wir Mittelergebnisse,
aber wenn wir uns das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
ansehen, sieht die Sache ganz anders aus. Es
ist nämlich sehr attraktiv. Und zwar sowohl im Fall
von Erholungs- als auch Geschäftsreisen. Ich
muss hier betonen, dass wir für den Business-
Tourismus immer besser vorbereitet sind und
