A case study provides them withinsights and knowledge about the port’s topography andstructure. This wasconfirmed in a survey of 200 top decision-makers inlogistics from all over Germany. More than 50 per centof those surveyed rated the business climate in the HanseaticCity as ‘very dynamic’. Hamburg managed to extend itslead over competitors such as the Ruhr region or Halle/Leipzig since last year, being ranked first in a comparisonof the eleven most important logistics locations. While 40per cent of respondents rated the business climate of theHamburg logistics location as very good a year ago, bynow more than half of those surveyed shared this opinion,according to the results of the survey conducted by thelogistics consultancy firm SCI Verkehr. The dynamicgrowth can largely be attributed to the boom experiencedin the Port of Hamburg.
