associated with kneeling, squatting and
other occupational activities
METHODS
• Case-control study in three English health
districts
• Patients listed for knee surgery because of
OA over a 2-year period
• Community controls individually matched for
sex and age
• Questionnaire administered at interview
• Analysis by conditional logistic regression
