We love Gran Canaria and have lived on this sunny island<br />
for quite a while now. However, if someone asks us what we<br />
miss about home, then it really is our traditional German<br />
Christmas feast. Christmas tree twigs, the lights, the smell<br />
of roast goose oozing from the kitchen. Hence, we are so<br />
happy to have discovered the EL GUSTO ESPAÑOL., which<br />
served duck yesterday. The classic way - half a duck with<br />
bread dumpling and red cabbage - or crispy duck breast with<br />
fried bread dumpling slices. Accompanied by plenty of sauce<br />
- that’s how we love it. But it was<br />
so much more than that.<br />
Unfortunately, we didn’t manage<br />
to try the fried duck liver with a honey<br />
balsamic sauce, apple slices and roasted onions.<br />
Instead, we tried the best kaiserschmarrn<br />
ever. If you think we are exaggerating<br />
should go and try themselves, don’t<br />
forget to mail us your experience.<br />
Everything is prepared freshly and<br />
there will be duck breast available on<br />
the weekends on reservation!<br />
