Deepen students finance knowledge by working out case studies.<br />
Students will learn how to resolve concrete corporate problems in financial<br />
management. Thereby, they will apply their finance knowledge to typical situation<br />
in corporate financial management as well as learn more about the scope<br />
and skills of corporate financial managers.<br />
Inter alia, the course will cover the following topics:<br />
� Net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), weighted average<br />
cost of capital (WACC)<br />
� Cash flow analysis, financial forecasts, liquidity<br />
� Analysis of financial alternatives, loan evaluation<br />
� M&A, valuation<br />
� Shareholder Equity, EPS<br />
Written exam, 90 minutes (3 ECTS)<br />
Presentation, 20 minutes (2 ECTS)<br />
Literature: Literature will be given during the lecture.<br />
