Youth work practice Level 2 certificate<br />
This Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work Practice is designed to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to<br />
competently fulfil the role of an Assistant Youth Support Worker.<br />
This course is suitable for participants wishing to develop their skills and practice in working with young people enabling<br />
you to link theory to practice. It is designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work with young people in a<br />
Youth Work setting. You should already have completed an introductory level qualificati<strong>on</strong> in a relevant field and/or gained<br />
relevant experience of working with young people. It is essential that participants are regularly working directly with young<br />
people between the ages of 11 – 25.<br />

In this course, learners will explore the different aspects of sexual health in relati<strong>on</strong> to puberty and changing bodies,<br />
safeguarding children and young people and pers<strong>on</strong>al safety. You will also develop an awareness of how to discuss these<br />
