Tues 7.30-9.15pm The maximum number is 20 – we are currently 16<br />

and would be delighted to welcome a few more<br />

members. Each week <strong>on</strong>e of us leads the tasting,<br />

decides <strong>on</strong> a theme and selects the wine. Two or<br />

three times a year we invite a speaker from, e.g., a<br />

wine supplier. It’s interesting, good fun and we are<br />

still learning even after 20 years.<br />

Thur 1.30-3.30pm A friendly group of writers with <strong>on</strong>e thing in<br />

comm<strong>on</strong>: a love of writing, poetry, prose and short<br />

stories. New members welcome, all levels of writing.<br />

M<strong>on</strong> 7.30-9.30pm In our l<strong>on</strong>g-established group we practise gentle<br />

Hatha Yoga – dynamic and static exercises (called<br />

Asana) to develop flexibility and strength, breathing<br />

techniques, simple meditati<strong>on</strong> and relaxati<strong>on</strong> for<br />

stress release. Friendly group of mixed ages and<br />

abilities. New members are welcome.<br />

Shaw Centre Yoga Group M<strong>on</strong> 7.45-9pm Suitable for all levels. New members welcome.<br />

Shaw Centre Yoga Group Tues 12.45-2.15pm Yoga suitable for all, to promote health and<br />

wellbeing. Experienced teacher. New members<br />

welcome.<br />

Shaw Centre Yoga Group Tues 7.15-9pm Yoga for all ages. Teacher with 25 years’<br />

experience. Yoga gives a supple body, relaxed<br />

attitude to life. You will feel more c<strong>on</strong>fident after<br />

about 6 weeks and see a good improvement in<br />

suppleness and stress levels. Breathing will also<br />

improve. Friendly group, new members welcome.<br />

through stretching and relaxing the Iyengar way.<br />
