Coldhurst The <strong>Oldham</strong> Choir M<strong>on</strong> 7.30-9.30pm Each year the choir gives a number of c<strong>on</strong>certs<br />

which often include young vocal and instrumental<br />

soloists, providing a platform for them early in<br />

their careers. There are currently 48 members and<br />

new members are welcome. You will need a short<br />

auditi<strong>on</strong> with the Musical Director.<br />

Sing for Pleasure<br />

Choir<br />

Wed 7.45-9.30pm A choir for every<strong>on</strong>e who loves singing – all we ask<br />

is that you can sing in tune! Very varied repertoire –<br />

folk, classical, spirituals, pop classics, s<strong>on</strong>gs from<br />

the shows, etc.There are no vacancies at present<br />

but names will be put <strong>on</strong> a waiting list.<br />

Shaw Centre Sing for Pleasure Thur 1-3.15pm Singing is very therapeutic. Learn all types of s<strong>on</strong>g<br />

from baroque, romantic, folk arrangements to<br />

popular shows. Joining involves membership of<br />

the community centre and a payment to the group<br />

leader. New members are welcome.<br />

Shaw Centre Co-op Choir Fri 7.30-9.20pm New members welcome.<br />

Fri 1-4pm Table tennis practice and competitive games with 5 tables<br />

in use. The sessi<strong>on</strong>s are well subscribed, used mainly<br />

by existing players of the <strong>Oldham</strong> & District table Tennis<br />

League who are of a good standard. New members are<br />

welcome but there are no formal coaching sessi<strong>on</strong>s.<br />

Fri 6-9pm Coaching by ETTA approved coaches. All abilities catered<br />

for from age 10 to 18. New members are welcome.<br />
