These holy days are on the same day every year on the solar calendar.<br />

Beltane:<br />

Beltane: Wiccan holy day. One of the eight Wiccan Sabbats. Traditionally the bale fire is<br />

lit without the use of metal on this day. The nine woods traditionally placed in the traditional<br />

Wiccan balefire are: apple, cedar, dogwood, elder, holly, juniper, oak, poplar, and rowan.<br />

Festival of Floralia:<br />

Last Day of the Festival of Floralia: Roman holy day. The festival of Floralia was a three day<br />

festival from April 28 to April 30.<br />

Mangé les Morts: Voodou holy day.<br />

Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) tradition. Anyone born on this day will be a great magistrate among all<br />

Maidyozarem:<br />

Maidyozarem: Zoroastran holy day. ‘Mid-spring’ feast, one of the seven obligatory feasts of<br />

Zoroastrianism and one of the six gahanbars (or gahambars). The gahanbars date back to the<br />

pre-Zoroastrian agricultural people of the Iranian Plateau and mark the changing of the agricultural<br />

seasons. The gahanbars were absorbed into Zoroastrianism as religious holy days and are celebrated<br />

with feasting and fun.<br />

In the Fasli (seaonsal) calendar, Maidyozarem is celebrated from April 30 to May 4. In the<br />

Shahanshahi (or Shenshai) calendar, Maidyozarem is celebrated from September 29 to October 3 during<br />

the years 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. In the Qadimi (ancient) calendar, Maidyozarem is celebrated<br />

from August 30 to September 3 during the years 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.<br />
