Festival of Carmentalia: Roman holy day. First Festical of Carmentalia, for Carmenta, Goodess of<br />

childbirth. Second Festival of Carmentalia is on January 15. Celebrates the nine muses and the nymphs<br />

of prophesy.<br />

Feast of Seker:<br />

Feast of Seker: Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) holy day. Feast of Seker (or Sokar).<br />

Juturna:<br />

Sacred Day for Juturna: Roman holy day. Honors Juturna, the Roman patroness of all who work<br />

with water.<br />

Burning of the Clavie:<br />

Burning of the Clavie: Celtic holy day. New Year by the old calendar. Burning of the<br />

Clavie (at Burgead in Moray). The clavie is a herring barrel filled with tar and packed with<br />
