Aprofusely branched, prostrate annual herb with channeled or ribbed stem. Leaves linear to
narrow oblong, sessile, glabrous, Inflorescence an axillary clusters of 1-3 flowers per
clusters; flowers with short stalk, pink in colour.
Flowering Period:
March to October.
Habitat:
Common on wet soils around lakes, cultivated fields.
Distribution:
Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, andAfghanistan.
