Description:
A perennial dark green sedge species leaves mostly shorter than the stem, 80-100
cm. Spikes normally dark brown in colour, It is reminiscent of tall plants of
Cyperus rotundus.
Flowering Period:
June to October.
Habitat:
Found on wet meadows; marsh-lands and rice-fields.
Uses:
Used as a fodder.
Distribution:
Widely distributed throughout the world.
