Description:
Aperennial grass, that creeps along the ground or tends erect, up to 40 cm high.
Flowering Period:
September to March.
Habitat:
Common on mud flats in intertidal zones and river estuaries,
rarely on saline soils inland.
Uses:
Used as nutritious forage for cattle and is readily grazed;
also used medicinally to relieve urinary irritation and as
a gargle.
Distribution:
Pakistan (Sindh); tropics and subtropics throughout the
world.
