Remarks: Original spelling Actaeoninae. Cossnnann
placed Actaeon in a different subfam-
ily Tornatellinae, based on Tornatella, treated
by Cossmann as a synonym oí Actaeon, so
there is no doubt that Actaeoninae was a
misspelling for a new family-group name
containing Actaeonina (incorrect subsequent
spelling of Acteonina). -idae [declared fam.
nov.], Pchelintsev (in Pchelintsev & Korobk-
ov, 1960: 242); -oidea, Bouchet, herein [in
place of Soleniscoidea, over which it has
priority].
