(25) X 11-13 u , elliptic, perfectly smooth, asci 220-300 X 13
18 u , not distinctively coloured in iodine, hairs from outside of apothecium
8-12 ,li broad, brown, septate.
Many specimens found along a road, in sand and gravel under
old Tilia. Oct. 8. and 18., 1948. +:-) All strongly attacked by Melanospora
Zobelii.
The right delimination of the species of Sepultaria has been
much discussed (vide S e a v e r 1942). We shall not enter into this
discussion, the present find being well in accordance with the description
given by S e a ve r (1. c.), except for a small difference
in spore size. Lachnea hemisphaerica is closely allied but readily
distinguished by epigean growth and by the spores, which according
to S e a v e r are faintly papillate.
6. Melanospora Zobelii (Corda) Fuckel. Perithecia 160
300,li broad, onion-shaped, stoma more or less protracted with prominent,
subhyaline hairs. Asci inflated clavate, 8-spored; spores
blackish brown, elliptic-Iemonshaped, 20-26 X 12-13 u . The species
parasitizes in very great number in the hymenium of Sepultaria
arenosa. It was found in all the fruit bodies of the find of this plant
mentioned above. O. R o s t r u p (1935) reports this species from
decaying stems of Solanum tuberosum. This, the only previous
Danish record, is not very convincing. F u c k e l (1869) gives only
Sepultaria arenosa as host.
RESUME
Interessante svampefund i Kongelunden
Gamarophyllus hymenocephalus} hidtil kun kendt fra enkelte
fund i U.S.A., er meget nær beslægtet med G. atropunctus. Inocybe
atripes rapporteres for anden gang fra Europa; arten er ganske
hyppig i N. Amerika. Sepultaria arenosa er den første danske repræsentant
for en ejendommelig diskomycetslægt, karakteriseret ved
