Minor accidents aside, Littlecott’s popularity
grew steadily, and he opened his first studio
in an Orlando hotel in 1995. Though part of
the business was a photo lab, which added
some financial security, Littlecott’s main
focus remained shooting. In addition to
weddings, he picked up fashion assignments
for local and national clients, constantly
challenging his photographic eye.
“I do the fashion as a creative outlet,” says
Littlecott, who limits his fashion assignments
to one or two days a month. “It’s an opportunity
to get my name out there, and it’s reinforcement
for my wedding customers to see my name in
[scores of] publications. It’s subtle advertising.”
In fact, Littlecott finds he doesn’t need

Littlecott’s artsy studio, Nu Visions in
Photography, welcomes visitors with the
warmth of wood floors, exposed brick walls,
airy three-story atrium, and dramatic
lighting. The overall effect is more like an
exclusive club or a hip gallery than a working
