Luminous Cost 1<br />
Trait: There is something striking about your personality—<br />
maybe your vivaciousness or maybe a streak of activism? The<br />
aspect will determine the colors.<br />
Effect: Luminous characters glow. They may have a uniform<br />
color or, perhaps several (a character might have glowing red<br />
skin with luminous blue spots, for example because they are<br />
passionate about a sense of personal freedom). The effect is to<br />
negate –6pts of darkness modifiers within WIL yards (and –4 for<br />
4 yards past that, -2 four yards beyond that).<br />
Lure Cost 6<br />
Trait: You tend to be seductive or have a con-artist/charismatic<br />
nature.<br />
Effect: The character has a luminous “lure” that can glow in<br />
order to ‘attract’ prey. The Lure is turned on as a 5 REA Medium<br />
action and creates a 10-yard radius light of various colors. The<br />
light may come from some spots on the character’s skin, a short,<br />
dangling tentacle, or some other source (the eyes).<br />
When seen, it is a PWR vs. STAT attack. The Lure effect doesn’t<br />
work well on people with a WIL greater than 10. At most they<br />
will be dazed by it (a Major Effect). The Power of the attack<br />
is 14 or the character’s WIL, or Persuade or Charm scores<br />
(whichever is highest). The roll is against WIL.<br />
It may only be tried once on a given person in an hour. Everyone<br />
who can see the light and is not familiar with it will be affected<br />
when it is turned on (within the 10-yard radius).<br />
Effect Result<br />
Minor Character will find the light “attractive.” In a social<br />
situation, many people will be enticed to come over and<br />
talk to the character.<br />
Standard The character will be lured: they will take a step,<br />
automatically, for 5 REA towards the character.<br />
Major The target is fascinated. Treat as Dazed but making WIL<br />
rolls to recover. When a character is struck in combat,<br />
however, they immediately recover. They will move at<br />
full-speed towards the light but will not grab or impede<br />
the character.<br />
Critical The character is entranced. They roll to recover at –3 and<br />
must make a standard roll if struck.<br />
Catastrophic Enraptured. There is no roll to recover (they will follow the<br />
light for hours). If struck, they must make a WIL roll at –4<br />
to recover.<br />
Made of Cake Cost 8<br />
Trait: You have a hard time saying ‘no’ to people and get taken<br />
advantage of and taken for granted often. You tend to help others<br />
to the point where you’re worn out, yourself<br />
Effect: You appear very clown-like in appearance—white skin,<br />
with curled, brightly colored hair and decorated flesh. You’re<br />
made of layer cake, and are delicious. People who take slices<br />
from you (it doesn’t hurt) heal 1pt of damage for every point<br />
they eat from you (costing you 1pt).<br />
1.You don’t bleed, you don’t take Penetrating Damage (treat as<br />
Impact).<br />
2.You are immune to toxins, you don’t need to breathe but you<br />
will “get soggy” if submerged and after CON seconds, will<br />
be immobile for CON minutes (not literally—but very weak,<br />
unable to move around, and at -5 to all rolls).<br />
3.You take a -8 Damage Modifier from any collisions but will<br />
be Dazed by them as you reconstruct yourself from the<br />
splatter.<br />
Mane Cost 5<br />
Trait: You are proud—to a fault in some way. Perhaps it is<br />
general hubris or maybe there is some area where you have an<br />
inordinate amount of your self-esteem tied up.<br />
Effect: Your hair is incredibly styled and overlarge. Perhaps<br />
you have a massive day-glow Mohawk. Maybe you have a long<br />
Chinese-style ponytail. Maybe it’s a lion’s mane. Whatever it<br />
is, it’s obvious and it stands out. Your features may change a bit<br />
too—sometimes becoming more feline.<br />
You have a Roar which does Listed IMP damage (sound) when<br />
directed. It’s very loud. It does 4x damage to inanimate objects.<br />
You also get extra STR and DP.<br />
The STR adds to any damage done with HTH attacks.<br />
