Bamboo area per capita also was shown following table <strong>and</strong> Mizoram was remarkably large amount that<br />
doubled by Arunachal Pradesh of North East.<br />
The inventory work has been taken up for rapid assessment of bamboo resources of Mizoram in 2000<br />
(Department of Environment & Forests, 2002). A joint project has conducted by Environment & Forest<br />
<strong>VIII</strong> World Bamboo Congress Proceedings Vol 4-83
