Sec<strong>on</strong>daries <strong>with</strong> two subcostal and three medim branches ; a fine<br />

radial nervure equally dividing <strong>the</strong> discocellulars and recurrent<br />

<strong>with</strong>in <strong>the</strong> cell to near <strong>the</strong> base <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> mediannervure ; <strong>the</strong> disco-<br />

cellulars toge<strong>the</strong>r forming a distinct angle ; c<strong>on</strong>necting alary<br />

bristle very l<strong>on</strong>g: antenna, <strong>of</strong> male str<strong>on</strong>gly pectinated, <strong>of</strong><br />

female filiform, flatteued below, and ra<strong>the</strong>r thick, <strong>with</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

apical segments atteuuated and ending in a species <strong>of</strong> clavus.<br />

Size <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> preceding speries, but nenrly allied to A. Walkeri ; from <strong>the</strong><br />

latter it chiefly differs in its smaller size, <strong>the</strong> pier colour and smaller<br />

size <strong>of</strong> all <strong>the</strong> yellow spots and patches <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> wings, and <strong>the</strong> yellow<br />

bands and streaks <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> body, and <strong>the</strong> trioiigiilnr form <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> nbdo-<br />

minal bands : <strong>the</strong> abdomen <strong>of</strong> tlie male below is iienrly white : ex-<br />

panse <strong>of</strong> wings 16 to 20 millims.<br />

spots <strong>on</strong> primaries ra<strong>the</strong>r larger, and <strong>the</strong> streaks <strong>of</strong> sec<strong>on</strong>daries united,<br />

semitransparent in froiit ; also n yellow and hjaline-white spot up<strong>on</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> costal margin : expanse <strong>of</strong> niiigs 22 millinis.<br />
