grccn scales; collar blue-green behind; head <strong>with</strong> two white spots in<br />
fr<strong>on</strong>t <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> eyes; antenna: black, tipped <strong>with</strong> white : auterior margin<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> collar <strong>with</strong> two central white dots ; basal segment <strong>of</strong> abdomen<br />
black d h four transverse white dots, o<strong>the</strong>r segments br<strong>on</strong>zy green,<br />
white lateral dots <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> sec<strong>on</strong>d and third segments ; wings above<br />
bright steel-blue ; primaries <strong>with</strong> a black oblique spot near base <strong>of</strong><br />
iiiternal area, apex and outer margin diffusely blackish ; sec<strong>on</strong>daries<br />

Although this species has <strong>the</strong> aspect <strong>of</strong> a Macrocneme, <strong>the</strong> tufting<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> hind legs is that <strong>of</strong> Xastigocern.<br />
