This is altoge<strong>the</strong>r smaller thnn D. homm, and has <strong>the</strong> apex <strong>of</strong><br />
primaries too broadly black to be that species.<br />

This species has <strong>the</strong> sides <strong>of</strong> tlie abdomen, top <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> head, a line be-<br />
hind <strong>the</strong> eyes, <strong>the</strong> fr<strong>on</strong>t <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> collar. <strong>the</strong> base <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> palpi, cox=,<br />
trorhmters, femora, body below, a spot at end <strong>of</strong> discoidal cell <strong>of</strong> pi-<br />
niaries <strong>on</strong> both snrfiices, and t\\o or three spots at apex <strong>of</strong> aecoudarics<br />
<strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> under surface scarlet.<br />
4. M. L~ATENIGRA, n. sp.<br />
rillietl to <strong>the</strong> preceding species, but differing in <strong>the</strong> head being black<br />
above, <strong>with</strong> tlie crest and a dot at base <strong>of</strong> antenna scarlet ; <strong>the</strong> l<strong>on</strong>-<br />
gitudinal central black streak <strong>on</strong> abdomen broader; no scarlet spot at<br />
elid <strong>of</strong> cell in primuries, or at apex <strong>of</strong> sec<strong>on</strong>daries below : <strong>the</strong> black<br />
borders <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> wings (broader than in any o<strong>the</strong>r spccies, covering <strong>the</strong><br />
apical half <strong>of</strong> sec<strong>on</strong>daries), and thc posterior segments <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> veiiter<br />
black : expanse <strong>of</strong> sings 29 millims.<br />
