finding this species <strong>with</strong>out a label, forth<strong>with</strong> redescribes it. This<br />

will, I think, account for several instances which I have noticed<br />

<strong>of</strong> evidently <strong>the</strong> same species described twice over in c<strong>on</strong>secu-<br />

tive pages <strong>of</strong> Wnlker’s Catalogues.<br />

Genus COREMATUBA, n. Sen.<br />

Priinaries <strong>with</strong> two subcostal and four apparent median branches<br />

visible to <strong>the</strong> nnlred eye, <strong>the</strong> lower radial forming <strong>the</strong> fourth<br />

median, <strong>the</strong> upper radial not visible ; discocellular str<strong>on</strong>gly<br />

angulated in <strong>the</strong> middle. Sec<strong>on</strong>daries <strong>with</strong> two subcostal<br />

branches. <strong>the</strong> upper <strong>on</strong>e lying close to <strong>the</strong> costa, and four<br />

median branches, <strong>the</strong> fourth being really <strong>the</strong> lower radial ;<br />

discocellular str<strong>on</strong>gly angulated. Antennae slender. Head<br />

ra<strong>the</strong>r small. Abdomen very l<strong>on</strong>g, <strong>with</strong> large bushy anal tuft.<br />

Genus ABQYROEIDES, n. gem*<br />

Primaries <strong>with</strong> <strong>on</strong>e evident subcoutal branch (forking from<br />

below near apex); two radials placed at <strong>the</strong> upper and lower<br />

extremities <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> cell, so thnt <strong>the</strong> lower discocellular is reduccd<br />

to about a quarter <strong>the</strong> length <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> upper ; discocellulam<br />

nearly straight ; three median branches, emitted regularly<br />

bey<strong>on</strong>d <strong>the</strong> middle <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> nervure. Sec<strong>on</strong>daries <strong>with</strong> two wbcostals<br />

; <strong>on</strong>e radial ; straight discocellulars, <strong>the</strong> upper ra<strong>the</strong>r<br />

l<strong>on</strong>ger than <strong>the</strong> lower ; thrce median branches emitted regularly<br />

bey<strong>on</strong>d <strong>the</strong> middle <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> nervure. Antennae plumose to near<br />

<strong>the</strong> tip. Head moderately large ; palpi about level <strong>with</strong> top <strong>of</strong><br />

head. Abdomen c<strong>on</strong>stricted at <strong>the</strong> base, <strong>with</strong> terminal straight<br />

anal tuft. Type A. ophi<strong>on</strong>, Walker.<br />
