In summary, there is tremendous scope for agribusiness to increase both performance<br />

and output. What are needed are policies that do not discriminate against agribusiness in<br />

trade and industry, together with effective macro policies. If such an approach is followed,<br />

agribusiness enterprises will grow and agribusiness will become a leading sector, thus<br />

enriching the national economy.<br />
