The activities on the S0 connection and between the <strong>ISDN</strong> <strong>Basic</strong> <strong>UMTS</strong> and the<br />

GSM/<strong>UMTS</strong> modules are displayed on the “Monitor“ tab, i.e. a “trace“ of the Dchannel<br />

protocol and the commands to the GSM/<strong>UMTS</strong> modules as well as their<br />

responses are recorded. This data protocol is used both for in situ analysis when it is<br />

viewed in the monitor window as well as for analysis in another environment by<br />

saving it together with the configuration in a “*.cdc” file and opening this file with the<br />

<strong>coM</strong><strong>sat</strong>.exe application on another computer. The ASCII save functionality is only<br />

available for using search and clipboard functions.<br />
