RFP <strong>for</strong> e-<strong>Ticketing</strong> <strong>Project</strong> Volume-III<br />

1. Introduction<br />

ASI proposes an e-<strong>Ticketing</strong> initiative to harness the power of ICT Plat<strong>for</strong>m <strong>for</strong> its vision<br />

”To esure trasparet, eas, efficiet ticketig sste usig ICT to facilitate world class<br />

In order to streamline its processes and increase efficiency and effectiveness of services, ASI<br />

has undertaken a comprehensive exercise to implement ICT based e-<strong>Ticketing</strong> system across<br />

all the protected/Ticketed monuments across India. The ICT based system is also aimed to<br />

bring in transparency and sustainability of the processes.<br />

ASI intends to establish a state of the art e-<strong>Ticketing</strong> solution which envisions the capability<br />

of the solutio to sell ad ook tikets olie ad at the Poit of “alePO“ outes fo all<br />

the ticketed monuments using a centralized solution. The system should be hosted on a<br />

robust server which is capable of dealing on real time basis. The system should be able to<br />

generate tickets and validate the entry to the monuments.<br />

As part of the tender process, ASI is releasing this RFP to receive responses from eligible<br />

bidders, to evaluate the bids and select the most appropriate Implementing Agency (IA).<br />

This RFP has been prepared to invite bidders to submit their proposals to implement and<br />

maintain e-<strong>Ticketing</strong> system <strong>for</strong> ASI. In<strong>for</strong>mation used <strong>for</strong> the preparation of this RFP has<br />

been made available from relevant and published sources of in<strong>for</strong>mation. Nonetheless,<br />

bidders are required to make in<strong>for</strong>med evaluation and decision based on their judgment.<br />

This RFP document contains the entire in<strong>for</strong>mation that constitutes the requirement as<br />

proposed by ASI in order <strong>for</strong> qualified bidders to submit their proposals. Any queries or<br />

clarifications must be submitted in the prescribed <strong>for</strong>mat and will be addressed to all<br />

bidders simultaneously.<br />

Volume I: Functional, Technical and Operational Requirements<br />

Volume I of RFP brings out all the details of solution requirements of the e-<strong>Ticketing</strong><br />

system. This volume also gives the details of the other requirements (functional,<br />

operational and technical) of the e-<strong>Ticketing</strong> project.<br />

Volume II: Instruction to Bidders and Bidding Terms and Conditions<br />

Volume II of RFP brings out details of the bidding process, bidding terms and conditions<br />

and all that may be needed by the bidders to understand bidding process.<br />

Volume III: Master Service Agreement and Service Level Agreement<br />

Volume III of RFP explains the contractual terms that will govern the project<br />

implementation and operation. This includes the draft Master Service Agreement and<br />

<strong>Archaeological</strong> <strong>Survey</strong> of India, Ministry of Culture Page 4 of 91
