RFP <strong>for</strong> e-<strong>Ticketing</strong> Solution Volume-I<br />

different roles such as Admin interface, mobile user interface, POS interface and ticket verifier agent<br />

interface.<br />

User Administration<br />

The application administrator should be able to add new users, groups, etc. into the system.<br />

Assignment of roles to these users and group shall be done in this module. Various roles<br />

that shall be configured and supported in the application are Super Administrator,<br />

Administrator, ASI Manager, Ticket issuer, Ticket verifier, online user and mobile user.<br />

Adding new roles should not impact the current roles and their behavior. However the user<br />

management and role-rights assignment should be exposed only to super administrator<br />

profile user.<br />

Authentication and Authorization<br />

Security is the critical component of the solution architecture which shall be implemented<br />

through Single User ID along with role based access control <strong>for</strong> e-ticketing system modules.<br />

Security layer components should adhere to the standards <strong>for</strong> the security management as<br />

prescribed in this volume of the RFP.The Application users shall be authenticated using the<br />

security module that is designed to support Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) or<br />

Database <strong>for</strong> identity storage and authentication. The system shall support Role Based<br />

Access Control (RBAC) at Web Application level and user interface level.<br />

Presentation Layer<br />

The communication between e-ticketing framework and the actors that communicate with<br />

e-ticketing system is per<strong>for</strong>med via Web Services. The presentation layer components<br />

extract the data from the services and presents to the user in a personalized <strong>for</strong>mat. When a<br />

user places any service request, these service interfaces invoke the respective applications<br />

and data returned by the application and presented to the user in a readable <strong>for</strong>mat.<br />

Integration Gateway<br />

such as Email to send out alerts and notifications to the visitors utilizing online ticket<br />

booking services. The online users will receive an e-mail notification with the booking<br />

number after successful booking. There<strong>for</strong>e the administrator user should be able to notify<br />

users if there is any unplanned activity which <strong>for</strong>ces the monument to be closed <strong>for</strong> any<br />

particular day.<br />

IA will have to develop the required interfaces <strong>for</strong> user and business layer to get integrated<br />

to SMS and Payment. Payment gateway integration should be simple and flexible. Changing<br />

the payment gateway vendos shouldt ipat the appliatio. The paet gatea<br />

interface shall be accessed through a secure communication HTTPS protocol. IA shall<br />

procure, install and implement the SSL Web Server certificates <strong>for</strong> online security.<br />
