RFP <strong>for</strong> e-<strong>Ticketing</strong> Solution Volume-I<br />

Group Booking – Online<br />

1. The system should be able to allow group bookings over the web<br />

2. The system should allow upto 25 persons in one single purchase<br />

3. The system should capture all in<strong>for</strong>mation about the buyer<br />

4. The system should generate barcode <strong>for</strong> 25 tickets <strong>for</strong> verification<br />

Group booking – POS<br />

1. The system should be able to allow group bookings over the POS<br />

2. The system should allow upto 10 persons in one single purchase<br />

3. The system should generate barcode <strong>for</strong> 10 tickets <strong>for</strong> verification<br />

5.3 General<br />

1. The system should generate MIS reports including ticket use and usage status,<br />

revenues, non-issue, or incomplete transactions, etc.<br />

2. The system should have ticketing per<strong>for</strong>mance management dashboard <strong>for</strong> ASI<br />

Headquarter to monitor<br />

3. The IA should provide a helpdesk interface integrated with the e-ticketing solution to<br />

handle queries.<br />

4. To meet the requirements, the IA should provide an e-ticketing solution customized<br />

to meet the convenience of <strong>for</strong>eigners and Indian tourists.<br />

5. The e-ticketing solution should be built on scalable hardware and available solutions<br />

so that scalability can be achieved, in terms of the volume of users and services it<br />

can support concurrently, there<strong>for</strong>e it must have capabilities to operate with an<br />

estimated daily peak load of up to 300,000 purchases per day. The web-ticketing<br />

solutions must be able to authenticate whether the purchaser is Indian or <strong>for</strong>eign<br />

and should issue tickets accordingly.<br />
