RFP <strong>for</strong> e-<strong>Ticketing</strong> <strong>Project</strong> Volume-I<br />

10.3 <strong>Project</strong> Operations Committee<br />

<strong>Project</strong> Operations committee under the guidance of SC is responsible <strong>for</strong> successfully<br />

managing the implementation of the project. Operations Committee is headed by the ADG,<br />

ASI.<br />

The IA will be working with the POC on these points: -<br />

i. Overseeing and directly supervising the project implementation<br />

ii. Seeking directions and guidance <strong>for</strong> the project implementation<br />

iii. Vetting of all deliverables of the project and recommend the same <strong>for</strong><br />

acceptance by the steering committee<br />

iv. Coordinating with the relevant officers at all levels <strong>for</strong> effective implementation<br />

of the project and helping resolve issues requiring high level interventions<br />

v. Carrying out related tasks as may be reasonably requested by the SC<br />

vi. Address concerns / enquiries / complaints referred to the OC by ASI employees<br />

vii. Developing and overseeing procedures <strong>for</strong> undertaking quality audits of<br />

institutions participating in the project<br />

viii. Assist in execution of the vision <strong>for</strong> change management<br />

ix. Ensuring effective transfer of knowledge and lessons learnt to the people<br />

involved within and across ASI project locations<br />

x. Resolve any conflicts and issues that may arise during the implementation of the<br />

project.<br />

10.4 <strong>Project</strong> Management Unit (PMU)<br />

PMU would consist of consultants with experience in in<strong>for</strong>mation technology and quality<br />

control. <strong>Project</strong> Manager of the PMU shall report to the <strong>Project</strong> Operations Committee. The<br />

PMU shall have specialists in the areas pertaining to software application, change<br />

management and infrastructure management and shall be responsible <strong>for</strong> day to day<br />

management and coordination, and operational activities.<br />

The PMU will provide in<strong>for</strong>mation and examples of good practice, and guide and support<br />

the various entities involved on all aspects of project implementation. It also includes,<br />

wherever required, ef<strong>for</strong>ts to build capacity of ASI. The PMU shall be headed by a <strong>Project</strong><br />

Manager.<br />

The PMU has overall responsibility <strong>for</strong> the management of the project and is accountable to<br />

POC. The responsibilities of the PMU are:<br />

i. Overseeing and assisting the project implementation<br />

ii. Providing directions and guidance to implementation agency <strong>for</strong> project<br />

implementation<br />

iii. Coordinating with the relevant officers at all levels<br />
