Connections<br />

1. Connect the blood pressure pneumatic tubing to the <strong>Spot</strong> <strong>LXi</strong> and to the test station.<br />

2. Connect the USB cable to the <strong>Spot</strong> <strong>LXi</strong> and the computer.<br />

3. Start the <strong>Spot</strong> <strong>Vital</strong> <strong>Signs</strong> <strong>LXi</strong> repair software on the computer.<br />

4. Connect the power supply to the <strong>Spot</strong> <strong>LXi</strong>.<br />

Voltage Calibration<br />

1. Follow the steps in “Connections”.<br />

2. Adjust the power supply to 5.5 Vdc ±0.1 Vdc and power on <strong>Spot</strong> <strong>LXi</strong>.<br />

3. Select Calibrate > Voltage in the repair software. The <strong>Spot</strong> <strong>LXi</strong> display window goes<br />

blank.<br />

4. Read the voltage on the digital multi-meter (DMM) connected to the power supply.<br />

5. Type the voltage reading in the Actual Voltage field and click the Calibration button.<br />

6. Click the Ok button to accept the inputs.<br />

7. Click the Ok button to answer the question in the text dialog box “Are you sure you<br />

want to make changes permanent?”<br />

8. Enter your initials in the Calibration Signature field to complete the voltage calibration.<br />
