SpO 2 Option Requirements<br />
SpO 2 Functional Test<br />
These tests are only valid on <strong>Spot</strong> <strong>LXi</strong> models with the Masimo or Nellcor SpO 2 option.<br />

Over 15 mmHg<br />
The SpO 2 Mode Current Test is defined as the amount of current, less the Blank Mode<br />
Current, that is drawn through the battery terminals, placing <strong>Spot</strong> <strong>LXi</strong> in the Blank Mode,<br />
actuating the SpO 2 mode and applying any SpO 2 signal to the device. The maximum limit<br />
is 120 mA maximum.<br />
Verify that <strong>Spot</strong> <strong>LXi</strong> can detect over pressure on the pneumatic system between<br />
296.0 mmHg and 329 mmHg.<br />
Verify that <strong>Spot</strong> <strong>LXi</strong> can detect static pressure over 15 mmHg for 180 seconds.
