data item 1
An alphanumeric or numeric data item. If data item 1 is numeric, then format 1 is
restricted to the numeric formats listed in the table of data item formats in the following
subsection.
increment
Use a plus (+) or minus (-) sign followed by either a numeric literal,ornumeric data item
if you require your resulting date to be offset from the input date by the specified number
of days.
FORMAT; format 1
This specifies the format of data item 1. Theformat 1 value must be one of the formats
specified in the table of data item formats, in the following subsection. FT is a valid
abbreviation for FORMAT.

Alpha or numeric receiving field. If it is numeric, then format 2 is restricted to the numeric
formats listed in the table of data item formats, in the following subsection.
FORMAT; format 2
This specifies the format of data item 2. Theformat 2 value must be one of the formats
specified in the table of data item formats, in the following subsection. FT is a valid
abbreviation for FORMAT.
After DATE.CONVERT; executes with this command option, the values contained in the
GLB.DC- items will be undefined.
EDIT.ONLY;
Validate the date value of data item 1.
After DATE.CONVERT; executes with this command option, the values contained in the
GLB.DC- items will be undefined.
