System Data Item Descriptions
To send an External Auto Entry to a different host name, the host name value must be
moved to GLB.DESTHOST as follows:
$ For an MCP based LINC System, move the host name attribute established in the BNA
definition.
$ For an OS 2200 based LINC System, move the host name as defined in the COMUS
General Configuration parameter.
$ For a UNIX LINC System, move the node name (the name of the host in the
communications network).
GLB.DESTHOST is not implemented in LDA Run Time. If set for an Automatic Entry,
GLB.STATUS will be set to NODB.

GLB.DESTINATION
GLB.DESTINATION contains the name of the database (or for an OS 2200 environment,
the TIP Transaction number of the LINC System) to which an external Automatic Entry is
being sent. For an internal Automatic Entry, its value is GLB.SELF or GLB.SPACES.
If data is to be sent to a non-LINC System (or to the LINC/USER interface program), move
the value NON.LINC into GLB.DESTINATION. If data is to be sent to a NOF program,
move the value NON.FORMAT to GLB.DESTINATION, and move the particular NOF
program name to GLB.DESTNOFORM.
If GLB.DESTINATION holds an invalid name, and an Automatic Entry is performed,
GLB.STATUS will be set to NODB.
GLB.DESTINATION is automatically reset at the start of an Ispec or in a Report, but you
will have to reset it manually after performing an AUTO.ENTRY; command.
GLB.DESTINATION is not implemented in LDA Run Time. If set for an Automatic Entry,
GLB.STATUS will be set to NODB.

GLB.DESTNOFORM
Note: GLB.DESTNOFORM is not implemented in LDA Run Time.
The GLB.DESTNOFORM System Data item enables two-way communication between a
LINC System and a NOF program using External Automatic Entries. It is used to specify
the particular NOF program to be targeted (when GLB.DESTINATION must contain
NON.FORMAT).
