System Data Item Descriptions
For an MCP based LINC System, the value of GLB.INITSTN is a reference station name.
The full station name corresponding to the reference station held in GLB.INITSTN is
contained in the System Data item GLB.INITFULLSTN. See your MCP Based LINC
Administration and Operations Guide for further details.
In LDA, GLB.INITSTN is initialized with the user or computer name before a session is
opened. It can then be set to BATCH using the -c parameter with LINCRPT.

GLB.INPUTDATA
GLB.INQ
Note: This System Data item is valid only in Ispec logic for MCP based target hosts.
GLB.INPUTDATA is a read-only System Data item which contains the data received for
processing the current transaction (that is, all screen data items excluding Usage Input
data items).
In a Copy.From Ispec, GLB.INPUTDATA should only be accessed on the first copy (when
GLB.COPY is equal to 1).

GLB.INQ is a read-only System Data item. It should be used in place of the literal INQ, to
allow for translation of MAINT values in multiple-language systems.
For more details, see the MAINT System Data item, later in this section.
GLB.LANGUAGE
The System Data item GLB.LANGUAGE can be used to change the working language of a
station in a multiple language environment. Its value can be changed in Ispec and Report
logic.
In Ispecs, if you attempt to set GLB.LANGUAGE to a language name that is not defined for
the LINC System, then GLB.LANGUAGE will contain ***** until the next transaction. You
should test the result of GLB.LANGUAGE immediately after any move to it in your Ispec
logic.
For Ispecs, the language currently in use on the station is held in the System Data item
GLB.STALANG.
GLB.LANGUAGE is not implemented in LDA Run Time.
