CE10WIN_EN_SP1
Platform .NET SDK
ADAPT00273670 Patch ID: 36163993
Description:
When a backslash character ("\") in a parameter is appended to a URL, the backslash is lost when a user attempt to print through the
ActiveX Print Control. Then, the following error appears: "Crystal Print Control. A communication error occurred. Printing will be
stopped."
The cause of the problem is that the query string is not encoded and, as a result, the backslashes are truncated.
New Behavior:
The URL is properly encoded. This problem is resolved.
Platform COM SDK
ADAPT00258928 Patch ID: 36002145
Description:
In Crystal Enterprise 10, objects that are marked as SI_HIDDEN_OBJECT in the APS cannot be returned when queried.
The cause of the problem is that the SI_HIDDEN_OBJECT!=1 constraint is always appended to the function that generates the implicit
constraints. To have objects returned when queried, the InfoStore should ensure that the constraint is removed.
New Behavior:
The InfoStore only adds this constraint when the SI_HIDDEN_OBJECT property is not explicitly specified in the query.
ADAPT00229571 Patch ID: 36093782
Description:
If Crystal Enterprise WCS and Windows IIS are configured to use Windows NT authentication for single sign-on, and the Crystal
Enterprise ActiveX viewer is used to save Crystal Analysis reports to Crystal Enterprise, an error is thrown. As a result, the view is not
saved.
The cause of the problem is that the NT authentication logon token expires every 2 minutes. When the Crystal Enterprise session has
been inactive longer than this time, saving the CAP view through the ActiveX Viewer causes the error. That is, the request that is sent
through the WCS, to save the view a second time, is malformed; the malformed request causes the error. (The request is only made aft
the token expires.)
New Behavior:
To prevent the request from being malformed, the request sent through the WCS to save the view a second time is no longer recreated
Instead, the request replaces the Windows NT credentials from the first request and sends it again.
Portal Launchpad/Sample/Tools
