System configuration
ADAPT00260900 Patch ID: 36013705
Description:
When two or more Event Servers are busy and one of them is stopped, the other Event Servers fail to process their own reports and ru
their jobs.
On the transport layer, only one listener object (the FAT listener object) registers with each Event Server. When an Event Server shuts
down, it performs a disconnect method.
The disconnect method prevents the listener from receiving future event notifications-- for all Event servers. This affects Event Servers
that are still running.
New Behavior:
The component has been fixed so that when more than one Event Server is busy, the disconnect method will not trigger when an Even
Server is stopped.
Usability
ADAPT00049226 Patch ID: 36010853
Description:
When using Windows NT 4.0 to view reports that use the ActiveX Viewer, once the viewer has been downloaded, the following error
appears: "The ActiveX Viewer is unable to create its resource objects."
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
User management
ADAPT00188226 Patch ID: 35524063
Description:
When a user logs on to the Crystal Enterprise environment using Windows Active Directory authentication, the logon fails when the
Active Directory user belongs to many Active Directory groups.
New Behavior:
This occurred when the token returned to Crystal Enterprise from Active Directory was greater than 4k in size. A change has been
made to allow a larger token to be received, therefore allowing the logon to succeed.
Visual Linking
ADAPT00265936 Patch ID: 36072499
Description:
When two tables are linked to one another, the error message "The table does not exist in the document" appears, if one
or both of the table names contain an underscore.
The cause of the problem is that the alias for the table name fails to be returned.
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
