Job Processing
ADAPT00498992 Patch ID: 38089366
Description:
The option "Specify a custom table prefix" fails to pass custom table to subreports.
This problem happens when scheduling a report that has an on-demand subreport. The subreport maintains the original table prefix.
When the successful instance is viewed in Crystal Enterprise, drilling into the on-demand subreport returns no data or incorrect data
for that subreport.
The cause of the problem is that the data sources for on-demand subreports fail to be changed to "custom db" during scheduling.
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
ADAPT00507438
Description:
Patch ID: 38056622
When scheduling a report based on a Business View that uses an upper or lower bound parameter option in java ePortfolio, the
following error message appears: "More information is needed before the report can be processed."
The cause of the problem is that, when the report is processed, the SI_MIN and SI_MAX property bags fail to be initialized when the
defined range is initialized. The null values in the property bags lead to requests for more information; therefore, processing fails.
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
ADAPT00521939 Patch ID: 38105908
Description:
Reports scheduled to the Job Server will fail if a second Report Job Server is added to a Crystal Enterprise system from the CMC and
auditing is enabled.
When the job fails, the following error message appears: "Audit notification failed. Please contact your system administrator."
The cause of the problem is that, in the code, the name of the audit file is created with the name of the Job Server as its root. If the name
given to the second job server is long, the length of the subsequent audit file name may exceed an internal limit and become truncated,
prompting the error.
New Behavior:
The problem is resolved.
To fix the problem, the naming scheme has now been revised.
