41. Musik für den Frieden II Switzerland
Das Integrationsprojekt „Chor der Nationen“ des Kantons Solothurn aus dem Jahre 2009 hat
eine Ausweitung erfahren: sind es jetzt 3 „Chöre der Nationen“ (bestehend aus den Chören
Solothurn, Luzern und Glarus).
Sie treten mit Solisten, Tänzerinnen
und Musikern auf. Insgesamt sind es
200 Mitwirkende aus 30 Nationen.
2010 wurden 3 Konzerte
aufgeführt, die an allen
drei 3 Standorten grosse
Begeisterung ausgelöst
haben.
Weiterhin wird Verschiedenheit und Gemeinsamkeit der musikalischen Sprachen als Weg des
Friedens zwischen den Kulturen / Religionen aufgezeigt. Es gilt für alle: sei es Volksliedgut aus
dem Iran, Afghanistan, Afrika, Europa wie auch für das Schweizer Volkslied: zuhören, Anteil
nehmen, mitgestalten, Sinn finden, Begeisterung auslösen.

The 2009 integration project „Choir of
Nations“of the Canton Solothurn has
expanded: now there are 3 “Choirs of
Nations” (consisting of the choirs of
Solothurn, Lucerne and Glarus) performing
with soloists, dancers and musicians with a
total of 200 contributors from 30 nations.
In 2010 3 concerts were performed which
triggered people’s enthusiasm at all 3
locations.
Diversity and commonness of the musical languages are shown as a way to peace between the
different cultures and religions. Be it folk songs from Iran, Afghanistan, Africa, Europe or Swiss
folk songs: the contributors listen, sympathize, are actively involved and inspire people.
