Mr. Sprague found-<br />
ed the company in<br />
Quincy, Massachusetts<br />
in 1926. The<br />
firm has now grown until it operates<br />
nine plants in six different cities. Details<br />
of Mr. Sprague's future plans will<br />
be announced at a later date.<br />
The board of directors elected Julian<br />
Sprague to the post of president, succeeding<br />
his brother. The new president<br />
has been with the firm since shortly<br />
after its founding.<br />

Peter H. Cousins, who has been information<br />

Tyler Nourse, who served as assistant<br />

Cousins, has been promoted to the post<br />
of editorial director in charge of RTMA<br />

Herbert Francis Hodge, Jr. of Silver<br />
Spring, Md., formerly in government<br />
information service, has joined the<br />
RTMA headquarters staff as an edi-<br />

component manufacturer.<br />
He was formerly<br />
executive vice- president<br />
of the company<br />

F. W. Sickles Division,<br />
a wholly -owned<br />
subsidiary since March 1951. He is now<br />
president of both companies.<br />
Mr. Cohen has been in the radio industry<br />
since 1916 and has since been<br />
identified with several well -known<br />
firms. He is a former director of RTMA<br />
and a member of the IRE and VWOA.<br />
