Mrs. James E. Dillon (R uth Wil son) , 3234 Nile Street, San Diego,
Calif. Mrs. Dillon's line stems from Patrick MacGregor , one time Chief
of Clan MacGregor whose wife was Lady Marion MacDonald; through
their son Major J ames MacGregor, who changed his name upon coming
to Virginia to Thomas Mack Gehee. Hi s son Ja cob married Eleanor
De J arnette, both born in Virginia.
Charles F rancis Miller, 5637 Western Avenue, Was hington, D. C. (Zone
15). Mr . Miller is the son of Anna Magruder Offutt who married J. Hite
Miller. Hi s grandmother was Ann Maria Fisher who mar ried Hill eary
Lyles Offutt, also on the line of Maj or Samuel Wade Magrud er.
Miller Reese Hu tchinson, j-, 1275 Clover Street, Rochester 10, N. Y.
Mr. H utchinson's fifth ancestor was Ninian Offutt Magrud er whose wif e
was Mary Ha rris. Thei r son, Zadoc, mar ried Tracy Reardon. Other
names on the line was Pomery and Perry.
Robert Patrick Adams, 1925 Wilb ur Avenue, Baltimore 5, Md. Robert
is the son of H enry R. Adams and his wife Marie E. Miller, and nephew
of our member J . F ranklin Adams. T he line is H aswell Magrud er and
his wife Charity Beall.
1211 Jr. J ohn W illiam Alvin Davis, j r., Stafford, Va, John is the grandson of
our member, Susan Euphemia MacGregor H arl ey, she daughter of John
Alistar MacGregor.
1212 Mrs . Ronald Vaughan Delahoyde (Frances Gregg ) , 326 W. 7th Street,
St. Hastings, Nebraska. Mr s. Delahoyde's fifth ancestor is Aaron Grigg,
born in Scotland, died in Wilmin gton, Del., where his son Willi am was
born. Other names in her line are Laison, Arnold and Smith.
1213 Mr s. Charl es Franklin Cox (Ruth Mar ion MacGregor ) . Mr s. Cox is
the daughter of George MacGregor and his wife Ida Peterson ; he born
in Albany, N.Y. ; she born in Sweden; he son of Ebenezer MacGregor
and his wife Ann Atkinson; he son of John MacGregor, born in Scotland,
died in Philadelphia, marri ed Catherine Clark.
1214 L.M. Alexander Leonard Covington Magru der, 2nd, P. O. Box 538, College
Station, Texas . Leonard is named for his grandfa ther, whose number
is 439. H e is the son of our late member, Alexander Dalton Magruder
and his wife Jean Rockwood W atson. His fifth ancestors were James
Truman Magrud er who married his second cousin Elizabeth Ann Magruder,
giving lines from Alexander and from Samuel, sons of the Immi ­
grant, Alexander Magruder, 1652.
1215 Jr. Mistress Anne Fount McGehee, 114 14th Street, Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
Anne is the small daught er of Willoughby Fount McGehee and his
wife Lassie Jon es Youmans. H er direct line is from her Immigrant
ancestor, Thomas Mack Gehee of Virginia, alias J ames MacGregor of
Scotland ; he son of Patrick, one time chief of the Clan Gregor.
