1197 Mrs. Paul F rederick Foster (Mary Isabelle de la Vincendiere Lowe).
P. O. Box 125, Mitc hellville, Md. Mrs. Foster is a granddaug hter of
Enoch Louis Lowe, Governor of Maryland from 1851 through 1854.
He was a descendan t of the Lowes of Derbyshire, England, and the
great-grandson of Ann Magruder who married Capt. Michael Lowe;
she gra nddaughter of James Magruder and his wife Barbara Coombs.
Mr s. Foster is the daughter of Pau l Emili us Lowe, son of the Governo r,
and Ma ry Anne Anderson, his wife.

D. C. Mr. Mackey is a direct descendan t of Rob Roy MacGregor and
He len Mary MacGregor his wife, through their great -grandson James,
born in Scotland and changed his name to Mackay ; died 1793 in Jefferson
County, Georg ia. H e was a soldier in the Amer ican Revolution. Hi s
grandson was Albert Gallatin Mackey who died 1881. Othe r names
in the line are Lloyd, H ubble and Mills.

Mac Gehee. He married in 1676 his first wife Ann Bastrop, daughter
of Thomas Bastrop of Scot land. Their daughter Sarah married Thomas
Lipscomb of Virginia in 1730, and their daughter Susa nna h married
John Ragland of Vir ginia . Ot her names on this line are Smith, Barnes,
Anspaugh and Owsley.
